Inspired by skinship (スキンシップ), the quiet bond formed through gentle touch.
Clean care, simply.
I’ve always cared about what goes into the things we use. But becoming a parent made that care much deeper. Suddenly, “probably fine” didn’t feel good enough. I wanted to know exactly what was in it, and why.
That feeling became Skinhug.
To us, clean care means fewer ingredients, chosen with intention, and nothing added just to sound good on a label. If it doesn’t need to be there, it isn’t. Just simple, thoughtful care that makes sense.
A note from the founder
Hi, I’m Mo, a mom based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Skinhug began with my daughter, Kaelyn, and more hours reading ingredient labels than I’d like to admit.
It didn’t start as a brand idea. It started as something I couldn’t ignore.
I wanted something genuinely clean and gentle for my baby. Something thoughtfully made. And I didn’t want my only option to be reaching for coconut oil in the kitchen.
- A lot of products felt overdone.
- Some felt too basic.
- Very few felt thoughtfully made.
So we decided to make what we couldn't find.

Made for babies, yes. But also for parents who care about what they use and want to feel good about it without overthinking everything.
We're building Skinhug with intention. One product at a time, always with the same question in mind: Would I feel calm using this on my own child?
